Synopsis

The sky is falling, the ancient Gods are dying, and now even the very fabric of the Undergrowth’s edge is cracking open. In the aftermath of an extinction-level event a scientific research facility is beginning to fall into disrepair, and the clueless intelligent life therein must learn to grapple with permanent changes to their world. When a mysterious being is discovered near the Fissure they are theorized to hold the answers to the Undergrowth’s mot pressing problems.

Hithered is one of my long-standing worldbuilding projects! It originally started off as a portion of my alternative earth timeline for the old The Nargonath Experiment (The predecessor to The Argonaut Experiment)1.

I’m not really sure what direction I want to take Hithered in at the moment. It has what I would consider very fleshed out lore, it’s a setting with a much smaller scope than TAE or Mysenvar, but there’s still many stories I could tell within the setting!

I’ve been thinking of stories for books, maybe a TTRPG campaign adventure, or even some zines?
