Synopsis
A man wakes up and kisses his sleeping wife before heading to work. At the office, he shakes his manager’s hand before being sneezed on—A bird sings outside as his wife wakes up from bed and makes breakfast. On her morning jog she waves to her elderly neighbor before passing a homeless man who coughs towards her—An alarm clock sounds as the old woman grumpily answers a call from her grandson stationed overseas. While tending to her garden, she waves to her jogging neighbor who sneezes.
Something deadly is spreading, and it’s doing it without a care for time. We follow uninfected characters as they go about their days and eventually become infected; then jumping perspective to the first uninfected person they interacted with in their day. On the whole each character survives just a little longer, but the virus’ effects only worsen as people on the streets begin to grow rabid and feral.
The idea for Untitled Zombie Movie funnily enough came to me while listening to the Rhett & Link song I’m on Vacation, which towards the end of the song devolves into a high science-fiction plot involving time travelling zombies unleashed onto the world via an infected ice cream sandwich. The two main characters of the song then have a discussion over the cliche nature of the event and the slight originality of time travelling zombies. The song gave me a wonderful idea: “What if a zombie virus could time travel?” And thus, this idea was born.
I have no clue how to produce movies, how to write a screen play, or how to get into contact with someone who could actually do something with this idea.
