I’ve been keeping track of my dreams since the start of 2020, when a friend group started a public dream journaling space. Since then I’ve irregularly catalogued my dreams, and took the opportunity to go back through my message history and compile it all into one place. This is not comprehensive; there’s often mornings where I don’t remember the dream (but am aware I had one) or it was too personal to write down.

All of the dreams here have been storified, to an extent. These are not the original ways I catalogued the dreams, which were hastily jotted down and disjointed messages. These have been rewritten to be legible and read like a stories, they also exclude details that are too personal.

I’m of the opinion that our dreams are relatively meaningless—they’re just a result of our conscious brain picking up signals while the subconscious cleans house at night. That doesn’t make it unfun to look back and analyze them though, and I think it’s a very valid form of introspection (Not because they have meaning, but because by analyzing them we assign meaning).
